As a mum of two young children, I appreciate how keen our little ones are to discover and play with new toys. Finding about the Toy Library has been such a revelation for me, the easiness of borrowing new toys every three weeks, with such a variety of categories, was incredible. So, it totally made sense for me to join the committee and help our community to keep enjoying this amazing service. I hope you will enjoy it too!

I was born in South Korea and raised in Hillcrest from 2002. I joined the Toy Library in 2021. It is the perfect way to show my little girl caring and sharing toys with others. I am happy to support this wonderful community.

I joined the Toy Library when my son was eight months old, and we have really enjoyed using it. I particularly appreciate the sustainability concept behind the toy library. My two years old enjoys going every second week to swap toys and chat with our friendly librarian. I became a member of the committee to support sustainability and to help keep the service running smoothly for the families who enjoy and depend on it.

I’m a step mum/mum of three boys (currently in the teenager, toddler and newborn phase). I joined the toy library 18 months ago and love being able to sustainably offer new and different toys for my sons to play with. I worked in the toy industry for 10 years, so I have a passion for learning through play. I’m passionate about community and hope to be a valuable member of the committee using my skills given from the toy industry and parenthood!

Jay grew up in Northcote and after long stint overseas returned to live here. She is a Mum to a busy 2 year old boy who enjoys the toy library as much as she did growing up.
